What we did The customer had an old unreliable Ferroli boiler which was beyond economical repair, She asked me to quote for a replacement boiler as an Worcester accredited installer I recommended the new 30i boiler the replacement for the old junior which now has temperature control for the hot water.
The boiler was removed and the new Rboiler installed system was cleaned and inhibitor added for extra protection the flue was sent out the rear wall instead of the side due to the closeness of the pitched roof.
A new Worcester system filter was also installed along with the comfort 1 wireless controller which gives 7 day programming.
The work took 1 and half days and was completed with as little fuss and nuisance to the customer. The customer was shown how to use the boiler controls and the comfort 1 controller with all paperwork left for them. The guarantee was registered along with the gas notification.
The guarantee for this particular job was 8 years which covers the boiler and clock and also the filter other guarantee lengths are available depending on boiler model installed.
